Catching a Break

Looking at the calendar, seeing that it is the last day of February, and it makes my head spin a little. The blog has been stale for about two weeks, due to a hectic work travel schedule, and a complete absence of photography during that time.

Now, I'm home for the weekend, and facing the necessary preparations both for a short trip to Arizona to visit family, and a subsequent move in to our new house. Somehow, I feel the pace won't relent any time soon. I've also been working hard during recent weeks to prepare for the cycling season, which may commence on Memorial Day weekend in Durango (no concrete decisions as yet). At any rate, the time to shake off winter's static inertia had long since passed, and I am hungry to get cranking on the bike. With our weather forecast being what it is (50F for the foreseeable future), I may be ready to start commuting via bicycle sooner than later.

All of that said, I'm hopeful for an outdoor adventure tomorrow, from which I hope some stories will precipitate. Thanks for being patient, and much more to come...
